FAQS
What is canyoning?
Canyoning is an adventurous outdoor activity that involves descending into narrow river canyons, using techniques like rappelling, sliding down natural water slides, jumping into pools, and swimming through the canyon. It combines hiking, climbing, and water activities, offering an exciting way to explore nature.
Do I need any prior experience?
No prior experience is required for most canyoning tours. Our guides will provide a safety briefing and all the necessary instructions to ensure you have a fun and safe experience. The activity is designed for beginners and experienced adventurers alike, with different levels available.
Do I have to jump during canyoning?
While jumping is an exciting part of canyoning, it is not mandatory. There are usually alternative routes or ways to bypass jumps if you are not comfortable. Your safety and comfort are our priority, and our guides will provide guidance on how to safely navigate all parts of the canyon.
Do I need to know how to swim?
It’s helpful to have basic swimming skills, as there may be sections where you need to swim across pools. However, non-swimmers can still participate if they are comfortable with water and are guided carefully by the instructors.
Is canyoning safe?
Yes, canyoning is safe when performed under the guidance of experienced professionals. Our guides are trained in safety and rescue procedures, and are certified by ICA (International Canyoning Academy). All equipment is regularly checked for safety standards. We prioritize your safety throughout the entire activity.
What should I wear?
We recommend wearing a swimsuit underneath your clothes. Upon arrival, we will provide you with a wetsuit and all necessary safety equipment. After the canyoning tour, you will only need to change into your dry clothes (don't forget underwear).
Where can I bring water and snacks?
We understand the importance of staying hydrated and energized, so you can bring water and light snacks. We will provide backpacks to carry these items during the tour.
