Canyoning is an adventurous outdoor activity that involves descending into narrow river canyons, using techniques like rappelling, sliding down natural water slides, jumping into pools, and swimming through the canyon. Do I have to jump during canyoning?
While jumping is an exciting part of canyoning, it is not mandatory. There are usually alternative routes or ways to bypass jumps if you are not comfortable. Your safety and comfort are our priority, and our guides will provide guidance on how to safely navigate all parts of the canyon.
Do I need to know how to swim?
It’s helpful to have basic swimming skills, as there may be sections where you need to swim across pools. However, non-swimmers can still participate if they are comfortable with water and are guided carefully by the instructors.
