Do we actually ride on the sand near the water?
Yes! The goal of this tour is the beach experience. We spend the majority of our time riding along the shore, where you can feel the sea breeze and see the waves at your side.
Can the horses go into the water?
Depending on the tide and the horse's comfort, we often walk along the very edge of the water. We prioritize safety and the horse's well-being, but the contact with the shoreline is the highlight of the trip.
Is it safe for someone who is scared of horses?
The beach is a very wide, open space which actually helps many nervous riders feel more relaxed. Our horses are extremely calm and used to the sound of the ocean.
Is Esposende a good place for this?
It’s one of the best in the North! The beaches here are famous for their natural beauty and for being less crowded than those near the big cities, giving you more "private" time with the ocean.
What happens if the weather isn't good?
The beach is beautiful in the sun, but if the wind or tide is extreme, we may reschedule for your safety.
