Overview:
Lisbon can be a challenge with so many hills and steep streets. In this tour, we believe every effort is worthwhile, and the views we will enjoy from two of the most iconichtaking. One such viewpoint is the S. Pedro de Alcântara Garden, where we will enjoy the lovely view of hills are breat downtown Lisbon and the Castle. Through the trendy Bairro Alto, we will have a glimpse of one of the traditional nightlife spots in the city. We will walk down to Carmo Square, passing the elevator Santa Justa. Through the elegant district of Chiado, we will discover exciting shops, historical cafes, and old bookstores. Descending to Rossio square and through Praça da Figueira and Baixa (Downtown), we will delve into the profound transformation the city underwent due to the earthquake of 1755. As we ascend again, we will reach the old town surrounding the castle and meander through the maze-like district of Alfama. Our tour will end at Praça do Comércio, near the Tagus River.

The old and labyrinth-like district of Alfama with its narrow streets and small houses takes us back in time before the earthquake.
Praça do Comércio

We will end our tour at the greatest square of city, Commerce Square, overlooking the river Tagus. From the square you can have a lunch break at the many restaurants nearby or do your own shopping tour at the Augusta street.
