This 3 hour Buggy Adventure offers the perfect opportunity to fully enjoy driving a CAN-AM through rugged terrain, with plenty of rocks, dust and, depending on the season, mud. The route allows participants to discover the Paiva Valley and the Arouca Geopark from a unique off-road perspective, combining adrenaline with outstanding natural scenery. Along the way, you will enjoy some of the best panoramic views over the iconic 516 Arouca Suspension Bridge and the Paiva Walkways, as well as several other highlights. The experience includes a visit to a Roman Gold Mine, a pass by the Canelas Slate Quarry and the Trilobite Museum, located in one of the 100 most internationally relevant geosites. Descent towards the traditional Schist Villages of Espiunca and Canelas. This tour combines off-road driving, geology, history and unforgettable landscapes in one thrilling experience. At the end of the activity, before returning to Porto, you can stop in the village of Arouca to have Lunch.

This buggy experience was easily one of the most fun activities of the trip. Driving through the rugged trails of the Arouca Geopark for three hours felt like a proper adventure. The terrain varies between dirt roads, rocky paths, and forest sections, which keeps it interesting the whole time. The guide gave clear instructions before we started, so even without prior experience it felt manageable.

A great mix of adrenaline and scenery. The buggies are powerful but easy to control once you get used to them. There were moments of speed and others where we slowed down to take in the views. The landscape in this part of Portugal is impressive and seeing it from this perspective adds something different.
